Game Store Simulator — Video Game Store Simulator

Run your own retro‑neon video game store, one cartridge at a time.

Pixel Shop is a first‑person shop simulator that runs right in your browser. Order stock, fill your shelves, set your prices and serve a steady stream of customers. Then grow a tiny corner shop into the coolest game store in town, alone or with a friend.

 Run the store

  • Order stock from the shop computer, unpack the boxes and fill your shelves by hand.
  • Set your prices by watching a living market: some games heat up, others cool down, and customers will tell you when you overdo it.
  • Work a hands-on checkout: scan items, bag them, count back change, use the card terminal and print receipts.
  • Arrange your store however you like: buy shelves, gondolas, used-game bins and decorations, and write your own signs and neon text.

Buy, fix and resell used games

  • Customers bring in their old games. Test them on a console and TV, check their condition, then haggle over the price.
  • Refurbish them at the workbench: clean, polish out scratches, print new covers and swap in fresh cases.
  • Fill the bargain bin and watch customers dig through it.

 Grow your business

  • 30 levels, each with a reward: new products, furniture, perks and bonuses.
  • Hire staff (cashier, stocker, technician, cleaner) and keep them happy, or they'll slack off… or quit.
  • Expand with a back storage room and racks.
  • Run a loyalty program: print and stamp loyalty cards, and regulars come back more often.

 Release days

  • New games are announced regularly. Take pre-orders with a deposit and a printed ticket.
  • On launch day, a queue forms outside before opening. Check every pickup ticket against your logbook, Papers, Please-style: fake tickets have a hidden flaw. Stamp ACCEPTED or DENIED and live with the consequences.

 Keep it clean and running

  • Customers track in mud, spill drinks and drop trash. Grab the mop and the litter picker before your reputation tanks.
  • The card terminal and scanner can break down: open them up and fix them yourself.
  • A day/night cycle with real sunlight, a light switch and an electricity bill.

 Playable arcade cabinets

Buy arcade cabinets for your store. Customers pay €1 a game, and you collect the coins with the cabinet key. You can play them too:

  • Sylvar Quest: a top-down action-adventure with a village, a forest, a dungeon and a boss.
  • Royal Néon: a poker-hand roguelike. Build hands, chain your chips × mult, beat the blinds and boss blinds, and collect a dozen quirky gadgets. Juicy animations and its own lounge soundtrack included. Playable with mouse or keyboard.

 Online co-op

Play with a friend in the same shop: open a room, share the code, and run the store together. You share the money, the customers and the chores. You can even watch each other play the arcade cabinets live.

 Atmosphere

  • A fully procedural, lo-fi chill soundtrack on the shop radio (you can change the track).
  • Living ambience: street traffic, birds, the hum of neon lights, chattering customers and footsteps.
  • Neon-soaked low-poly visuals with bloom, ambient occlusion and dynamic shadows.
  • I put everything i was in mind.
